Desmond watched in silence as she unbuttoned his jeans. He wanted to stop her. Damn, he wanted to stop her. But it’d been far too long since the last time he’d gotten some. And if Dana was making an offer he certainly wouldn’t refuse it.

Desmond lifted up a little so she could get his jeans off. On the low, Dana was somewhat surprised that he didn’t stop her. He knows he misses this pussy, she thought arrogantly.

After freeing him of his True Religions, Dana pulled his rod free. She didn’t bother removing his boxers as she slid her tongue down his pole. Desmond was so hard that she see the veins pulsating in his 10-inch dick.

“Fuck,” he groaned. Grabbing a handful of Dana’s short hair, he slowly guided her up and down. Her soaking wet mouth made slurping noises as she sucked with expertise. Dana could suck a nigga into submission, and she knew it. After all, her epic head game had been his weakness for years.

Desmond’s toes curled on the plush shag carpet beneath his feet. Dana gently kissed and licked on his balls; that shit always drove Dez crazy.

“You miss me?” she asked with a sly grin.

Good head and pussy made Desmond say anything. Biting down on his bottom lip, he nodded his head even though it was a lie.

Pleased with his response, Dana took him fully in her mouth.

“Oooh, shit girl.” Chills ran through his entire body as she sucked the life out of him. “Keep playin’, you gon’ get fucked,” Desmond warned her.

Dana quickly stood to her feet and pulled her top off. “Maybe that’s what I want,” she smiled.

Desmond’s mouth watered at the sight of her chocolate nipples. They stood perfectly erect in the center of her supple c-cup breasts.

“So dat’s what you came for, huh?” he grinned.

Dana pulled her jeans down her shapely legs, revealing that she wasn’t wearing any panties. “Maybe…”

Curling his index finger, Desmond beckoned for Dana to come closer. His dick stood at full attention, glistening from the head she’d bestowed.

Dana took her time as she straddled Desmond. His massive girth opened her up almost immediately. “Mmm,” she whimpered.

“This shit tight,” Desmond said, grabbing a tittie. “Almost feel like you ain’t give this pussy to nobody since me.”

  “Maybe I haven’t,” Dana moaned.

A small part of him sort of believed her. Pulling her down towards him by the nape of her neck, Desmond leaned in for a kiss. He stopped just before their lips connected. Getting that intimate with Dana seemed like an ill-advised move. Hell, she had proved she was crazy on more than one occasion. But damn if Desmond didn’t feel like a prisoner trapped in her wetness.

“Ooooh, daddy! You feel so fucking good,” Dana moaned. She bounced and rode him like a pro from a horizontal position.

Desmond squeezed and gripped her fat ass as he bucked from beneath. “Damn, you gon’ make a nigga cum faster than I want to,” he admitted.

  “Cum inside me,” Dana pleaded.

  “What?!”

Before she could repeat herself, Desmond pulled her off. For a second, he’d almost forgotten she was the bitch who poked holes in his condoms. Dana was cute and cool from time to time, but there was no way he wanted another child with her. She caused her fair share of drama in his life already, and he didn’t need more of it.

“Why’d you stop?” Dana asked, panting heavily.

Desmond slowly climbed off the bed and walked towards the master bathroom. He needed a shower and a drink. Regret tugged at his emotions as he headed towards the hallway bathroom. I shouldn’t even have opened that door back up, he thought. Lately his decision-making when it came to women had been all fucked up.

Dana laughed on the bed and shook her head. “This nigga somethin’ else.”

Realizing that she’d overstayed her welcome, she quickly dressed and prepared to leave. Before she left the bedroom, she walked over to the bathroom’s slightly open door and looked in. After splashing cool water on his face from the sink, Desmond turned on the shower.

“A few weeks ago, I had it in my mind that I was gonna rat you out. Tell the police everything about you—about the business.” Dana paused. “But I didn’t…”

Desmond turned around and looked at her like she was crazy. He was almost tempted to slap her. “Is that a threat?” he questioned.

“No…It’s a reminder that I’d never turn my back on you like her.” Dana wouldn’t dare utter Kimberlyn’s name. “Quit looking and waiting,” she told him. “You gotta real bitch right here.”

  12

That evening, when Shayla arrived at Kimberlyn’s home, she noticed all the lights were off. After shuffling up the front steps, she rang the doorbell. A few seconds later, the door swung open and Jordan greeted Shayla with a hug.

“Hey, where’s your mama?” she asked, looking around.

Jordan closed and locked the door behind Shayla. The five-year old had become quite the little man since Kim’s hospital discharge.

“I’m back here!” she called out from the living room. “Did you get my apple juice?!”

Shayla shook her head in disbelief as she headed to the room Kim was in. She found her friend stretched out across the beige sofa while watching “Love and Basketball”—for what Shayla guessed was the hundredth time.

Bag Lady was the first thing that came to mind when she saw her girl. Wearing oversized gray pajamas, a bonnet on her head, and the footies they’d given her at the hospital, Kim was a sad sight to see. It was unfortunate too because she was such a pretty girl otherwise.

At 5”5, Kimberlyn was the closest thing to perfection. Smooth medium-beige skin, olive green eyes, and a sexy coke bottle shape she had the whole entire package and then some. Born to a Salvadoran father and African-American mother, Kim was blessed with the best of both worlds.

“Really?” Shayla asked, before flipping the light switch on.

“Ugh,” Kim hissed, shielding her eyes. She’d been in a deep, dark depression the last few days and enough was finally enough. “What’d you do that shit for?”

“Bitch, you need to get off that couch and back to the real world,” Shayla said, joining her. “You’re even starting to get a little booda-belly,” she teased, pinching Kim’s tummy. It was true. She’d let herself go over the last couple days. Evidently, binge-eating went hand in hand with moping around.

Kimberlyn frowned at the Mayfield ice cream box on the table in front of her. Turtle Delight was her new addiction. “I just don’t be feeling like it, Shay,” Kim whined. “It’s just the same old shit happening beyond these four walls.”

“Yeah, but it was the same old shit you loved,” Shayla reminded her. “Speaking of which, why don’t we go out tonight? You’ve been cooped up in this house for too long. I’m sure you could use a drink.”

Kimberlyn snorted. “You’re pregnant and my hair ain’t done. No thanks.”

“Oh. Wow,” Shayla laughed. “Pin your indiscretions on me, why don’t you?”

Kim looked over at her friend and sighed. “No offense, but I don’t see how you can do it…”

  “Do what?” Shayla asked confused.

“Walk around and act like everything’s okay after what Romeo did to you.”

Hearing his name made butterflies in her tummy. She barely even talked about him nowadays. “I’m not gonna front like it doesn’t bother me,” Shayla said. “I think about it every day…But ain’t no sense in moping around about it. Life goes on. That goes for you too.”

Rolling her eyes, Kimberlyn focused back on her favorite movie. “I guess.”

After three and a half years of friendship, Shayla was used to her wishy-washy attitude. As always, she paid it no mind. “Guess who pulled up on me today while I was walking to work?”

Kim’s silence made it clear that she didn’t feel like guessing.

  “Dexter,” Shayla said.

Kim’s neck snapped in her direction so fast she nearly gave herself whiplash. “Say w
hat now?”

“Yeah, girl. Talking ‘bout some the way he feels never changed,” she laughed. “He really laid it on thick too. Even invited me out to dinner tonight—”

“Bitch, if you said yes I will slap yo’ ass right now.”

Shayla looked disgusted. “Hell no. What do I look like?” she said. “I told him I had plans.”

“With who? Romeo?” Kim asked sarcastically.

“Nope. With you. I told him we were going out tonight—which is what we should be doing!” Shayla teased, playfully nudging her friend. “Come on! Get up, take a shower, and call a babysitter! I’m tired of putting up with your stankin’ ass and self-pity! It’s time to live a little. Isn’t that what you’re always telling me?”

Kim lifted her left arm and smelled herself. “Do I really need a shower that bad?”

  Anybody wanna buy a heart?

  Anybody wanna buy a heart?

  ‘Cuz I don't use the shit anyway…But okay, I guess it's my fault…

Westside shorty, with an eastside nigga…

They say it's levels to this shit, I'm a G5 nigga

And every city I be in, you know she fly with us….

It's like Hov got Bey, it's like Bey got Jigga…

Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill’s collabo bumped through the speakers of Club Phoenix, a popular downtown nightclub. As usual, the place was jammed to capacity. Niggas looking to stunt and the women looking to land them were all in attendance.

Romeo and his boys had been all over the city that night. Sliding through to spend a couple bands, and raise a little hell before sliding out. That seemed to be a nightly routine in their young, boisterous lives.

It was after midnight when Romeo and his crew arrived at Club Phoenix. After dropping a few racks, they easily secured a VIP spot in the center of the two-level club. If you gon’ do it big, do it right. That was the motto Romeo stood firmly by.

After the robbery, he had sworn to himself that he’d chill out on showboating. That promise was broken as soon as he started stunting even harder. Romeo just couldn’t help it. Being flashy and flamboyant was in his DNA.

Damn near every female in the building had their eyes on the young boss. With his sparkling jewelry and bad boy aura, Romeo was absolutely irresistible—especially to a cute brown-skinned chick at the bar. She’d been peeping his swag since he walked in the place.

Romeo noticed her too, considering the white skin-tight dress she wore. He didn’t give a damn if the bubble on her backside was real or fake. All he knew was that he wanted her number. While eyeing the brown-skinned vixen, Romeo noticed Desmond walk in. He did an automatic double-take after seeing Dana with him.

Don’t tell me these two mothafuckas back on it, he thought.

Every fella in VIP greeted Desmond accordingly; with a head nod and dap.

“Whuddup boy, I see yo’ ass stepped out anyway,” Romeo said. He then gave a dry head nod to Dana out of mere respect. He didn’t really fuck with her too heavy after hearing the insane stories. Then again, he and Desmond had always shared opposing tastes in women.

“Yeah, you know. Shit, I had to come through and show my face at least once.”

“I begged him to come,” Dana butted in. She had her arm purposely wrapped tightly around his waist. She made sure every gold-digging hoe in a 30-mile radius knew he was off limits.

“So…uh…How long ya’ll been back at it?” Smiling, Romeo folded his arms and looked from Desmond to Dana.

Desmond cut his eyes at Romeo, pissed that he’d even ask that. He didn’t need Dana to start feeling herself more than she already was. “Man, we just chillin’. Nothing’s set in stone,” he said casually.

“Nothing yet,” Dana smirked. It was clear that she already had her intentions set.

Romeo lifted his black Lakers snapback and scratched his hair. He still hadn’t gotten around to handling it. The street life kept him tied down. “Well, shit. Make ya’ll selves comfortable. We got bottles, kush, and a hookah with some shit in it dat might just stop ya heart.” He’d already popped a half before entering the club so he was feeling good.

Romeo was always extra when it came to partying with his niggas. Young, wild, and rich, they lived their lives as such. Drugs, money, and women ranked lead in that order.

Desmond chuckled before helping himself to a seat. “You wild, nigga,” he laughed. Since teenagers, Desmond had been the more reserved of the two. An observer by nature, he loved to simply sit back and peep his scene. He was always leery of a motherfucker watching and waiting in the shadows. A hater would never catch him slipping. But Romeo…his cocky ass believed himself untouchable—and Desmond could never tell him otherwise. He didn’t hassle him about it too hard though. Romeo kept a clique of killers by his side most of the time.

Desmond fired up the fat blunt his patna passed him. After taking a few inhales, he handed it to Dana. If it wasn’t for her he wouldn’t even have stepped out that night. After letting her talk herself into sticking around, she talked him into taking her out. That night was their first time being out in public together in years. Dana relished every second of it. She felt right at home, and she’d be damned if she let another bitch take her spot again.

“Hol’ up. I’ll be back,” Romeo said, noticing the big-butt cutie leaving with her friend.

She tried to be slick by looking over her shoulder at him. All she wanted to do was play cat-and-mouse. That’s all women ever seemed to want; a nigga to chase after them. Luckily, Romeo was down to play her game. He hadn’t fucked another chick since his break up, but that night he planned on getting it in.

Meanwhile, halfway across the club, Shayla and Kimberlyn shuffled through the thick crowd. Neither had the funds for exclusive seating and the bar was too full to even order a drink. Suddenly, Kimberlyn hated that she had let Shayla convince her to come out. She just wasn’t feeling it. Life was so much more safe when she was indoors, wallowing in her own sorrows.

Kimberlyn’s night got even worse when she spotted Desmond booed up with Dana. “Oh. My. God. You gotta be kidding me.”

“What?” Shayla asked. She quickly scanned the crowd to see what had her girl so awestruck. She spotted the source immediately, and couldn’t blame Kim for being annoyed. She was, however, disappointed to not see Romeo with him.

“I knew I shouldn’t have come out tonight,” Kimberlyn said. “’Cuz this the shit I gotta deal with.”

As if he could feel the intense gazes, Desmond looked over in Kimberlyn’s direction. She wasn’t too hard to spot in the crowd. She was one of the baddest females in the place. A cream form-fitting dress hugged every curve and made her ass sit high. Instead of wearing heels due to her injury, Kim wore black open toe Gladiator sandals.

“I’m ready to go. I done seen enough for tonight,” Kimberlyn said, turning to leave.

Desmond watched as she stormed off in anger. He knew exactly why she was upset. Nothing was worse than seeing someone you love fraternize with an enemy. And that’s exactly what Dana was to Kim. Still, he couldn’t let her walk off without hearing his piece. It’d been over a month since the last time they seen or talked to each other.

Desmond quickly hopped off the couch and went after Kimberlyn.

“Wait. Where are you going?” Dana yelled after him.

“Kim? Kim, hol’ up for a second!” he called out.

Desmond bombarded his way through the crowd until he reached her. Grabbing Kim by the elbow, he turned her around to face him.

“WHAT? What do you want, Desmond?!” she lashed out. Her cheeks were red from anger and embarrassment. How could he go right back to Dana? Apparently, he got a kick out of her bullshit. Desmond could have that crap, she was better off without it. She certainly wouldn’t compete for his attention and affection.

“I wanna talk to you,” Desmond said calmly. The look in his eyes was sincere. He’d missed Kimberlyn like crazy. He hated that they’d bumped into each other under the circumstances.

Although Kim was surprised to see him with bruises, she kept her questions to herself. She knew he was a trap king, so whatever shit he’d gotten in came with the territory.

Unfortunately, Desmond had never gotten around to telling her that her snake ass ex had robbed him of 250 grand in cash and drugs. Even though he still had a bounty on Cool, it was water underneath the bridge for now. He simply wanted to get back to how things used to be and that involved Kimberlyn. Unfortunately, she didn’t feel the same.

“You with yo’ bitch right now. Talk to her,” Kim said, snatching away. “Speaking of which, she’s on her way over here right now.”

Desmond turned around and sure enough, Dana looked like an approaching tidal wave. “Desmond, what the fuck?! Have you lost your mind? You supposed to be here with me, and you chasin’ after this trash ass hoe—”

“Bitch, I really ain’t the one right now,” Kimberlyn warned her.

“Yeah, you right! You’ll never be, you bum bitch!” Dana said, pointing her finger in Kim’s face. “Look at yo’ tacky ass! With that cheap ass dress and them shoes! Bitch, you could never see me! Yo’ ass need to go and find a sponsor, hoe! This one off limits—”

Kim punched Dana dead in her mouth, splitting her shit open. She’d had enough of her loud-mouthed ass. Plus, she hadn’t forgotten about her busting out her windows.

Staggering in her heels, Dana grabbed the nearest person to keep from falling. Sadly, her girl Monica was nowhere to offer back up since she’d returned to Cali. The surprised look on Dana’s face showed she couldn’t believe she’d actually been hit. Dark red blood trickled down her chin. Her shit was leaking. She had grown used to popping off at the mouth without consequences, but that night she had met her match.

“Did you just put yo’ hands on me, bitch!” Dana screamed, lunging at Kim. Grabbing a handful of her long hair, she slung Kimberlyn around the dance floor while pummeling her head.

Shayla tried her best to break them apart—but stopped after being nearly kicked in the stomach.
